AS Screen Recorder is a free, simple, and easy-to-use application. It is designed to let you make screencasts with one action. You can record your screen with or without audio. The application is also designed to let you record in many different formats. You can choose between the default format, which is H.264 with a lossy compression, or you can choose one of the other available formats, such as MPEG-4 with a lossy compression, or AAC.
